CADBURY UNVEILS NEW CADBURY HERITAGE BISCUIT
Cadbury expands its dynamic portfolio of confectionery products with a new biscuit
addition, the Cadbury Collection Tin (400g). The Cadbury Collection Biscuit Tin
has been designed to meet the needs of shoppers looking for either a premium
gift or a perfect snack for sharing. The timely launch in May 2009 provides the
ideal opportunity to increase sales and target a wider travelling public
throughout the coming summer months.
A recent
syndicated global study ;Listening to the global consumer;, showed that 83%
of confectionery purchases in the global ITR channel are for gifting (52%) and
sharing (31%). As a result, Cadbury offers a variety of product ranges to meet
the various needs of the travelling shopper. The Cadbury brand name clearly
displayed on the tin, gives the shopper the quality assurance they need but the
packaging offers an additional added value reason to buy ; the opportunity to
take home and keep a piece of British heritage to share with friends and
family. The 400g Cadbury Collection Tin comprises 6 units per case of biscuit
assortments coated with Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate.
